He graduated from Southern Methodist University after majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. He then attended Midwestern University, earning a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences. He then continued his education at the University of the Pacific's Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, earning his DDS degree and graduating with honors, a reflection of his academic excellence and commitment to learning.

He also traveled to Jamaica to provide community dentistry services to those with limited access to dental care.>
